The Most Effective Way To Release Your Stress

In this time, we're still in COVID and what is even more unnerving is that the numbers are starting to climb and then we're unraveling what a lot of our white friends, allies, enemies and people we never really liked anyway, unraveling a lot of their beliefs around what it means to be black, what it means to be human, what it means to be American and just what it means to exist today in this world. It's a lot like social media is bombarding. Your friends are talking about it because why not? It's where we are. It's our conversation, but, my God, it is a lot. And my question is, how are you guys handling this stress and what are some of your number one stress relievers? For me, and I boldly recommend for you is to move your body. We hold on to so much stress in our bodies and it shows up. When you're holding on to this stress, you're carrying this stress in your body of everything that's going on with around you. And that's just the stuff that's happening around.

It's not even talking about the things that you're dealing with at home. People have their kids and they're just at home all the time and come to find out, you may or may not even like. Well, that's a whole another conversation, but I don't have that conversation, but how are you handling this and how important it is to move your body? It doesn't take a whole lot, but it can be something as simple as go outside and take a walk. You don't have to walk 4 miles, 12 miles, nothing ridiculous. Go outside, walk around the block and come back in, take deep breaths and you just realize just to release that stress in your body. It can look like doing a few pushups and when I say a few, I'm saying a few, 2-3 pushups. Just move your body and give yourself the grace to be able to release that stress.

You will be happy for it. Your family and friends will be happy for it and it's just easy, it's simple and just do a little bit. You don't have to do too much. I am on MyFitnessPal. I'm also on the Under Armour walking app. Friend me there so we can share each other, give your stress a reprieve. Give it somewhere to go. It's easy, it's fun, move around.
