I'm a giving you this disclaimer in case you think I'm talking about relationships with your significant other, because I'm a giving you this because I am single. I'm super single. Everything that I have done up to this point has gotten me where I am, which is single. So you can take my advice on relationships with your significant other. Accordingly, I'm single. So if you're gonna be listening to something that I suggest mentioned or might say a little bit that you should do about what you should do with your boyfriend girlfriend, know that I'm single, so don't be trying to comfort me because I know who I am, which is single.
There are all kinds of relationships, but today I want to talk about like your relationships with ALL the things.
Morning walks. I started these walks in the beginning of COVID, so I started walking in March but I actually start recording my walks in the end of May. I started being very consistent with my walks first. I was in a really good relationship with my walks. I looked forward to these walks. I use these walks as a practice, as a meditation, as an opportunity to see things that are outside, an opportunity to get healthier. I've walked from 161 lbs. to 147 lbs. sometimes it's 149 lbs. It fluctuates. But I've gotten smaller.
I've used the relationship with my walks to expand other things that I wanted to do. I knew that I wanted to show up as I'd been talking about being your own advocate. I know I wanted to show up better. I know I wanted to show up more so I started doing these videos and I knew that I was going to be walking. Anyway, so why not do these videos because I'm already walking to capitalize on that relationship that I already have with walking, that is already consistent. So, what else can I do to further the relationship? What are the other things that I can do when I'm walking?
I get to talk to my mom about two, three times a day. You get an opportunity to still talk to your parents. My dad and I, don’t have conversations anymore. No one like that. You have opportunities to talk to the people that you love, even for a few minutes. Get it in. Those opportunities are priceless.
You start to mirror your fears with that stuff to other people, so just take a moment. Take a moment and focus on one of your relationships. Is it your relationship with money? Is it your relationship with food? Is it your relationship with doing work? Is it worth your relationship with reading? Are you taking the time to feed into that relationship? Are you giving that relationship time? Are you talking to your money? Are you talking to your food? Are you grateful? Are you grateful for the relationship?
Take a moment to look at your relationships, no matter what it is. Take a look and look at the part that you could be doing a little bit better. Just take a look at that and if you need some help on trying to figure that out of, what does that look like being selective? What does that look like? Try to find out. Like what am I having a problem with? Why am I having a problem with money? Why am I having a problem with leadership in my own home? Why am I having these problems right now?
Get on my calendar. We can do a 20-minute session quick, a little conversation just to help you get some clarity and you can go on with your business. It's cool. I want to do it. And it's exciting. I love talking to people.
