What are you good at and how do you know what you're good at? I would say reach out to your friends and family and ask them and they'll tell you, ask them what you're good at, ask them what your superpower is. Ask them when they are struggling to figure out how to what? What do they come to you for? There are plenty of superpowers that we have and I was having this conversation with Demetre and also with my mom that our superpowers were triable, we are meant to engage in live and thrive in communities, so our superpowers, they don't work on ourselves. Our superpowers only work on other people, so don't be ashamed, don't be selfish, don't be shy. This isn't a time to hold on to what you think that you're good at or what people have told you that you're good at, so use this as an opportunity to really get to show up as big as you can because sometimes we get used to playing small and you don't have to do this here. You don't have to play small here. I'm looking for the biggest, brightest, liveliest version of you. This is a safe place. Your ideas are safe here. Your support is safe here and we want to see you grow here.
1.What are you good at?
What do you like to do? What are some of the best things that you do at work like you can do anything like you're good at making prospecting calls or you're really good at hosting and facilitating meetings. You take the best notes in a meeting because you're able to listen to the meeting and figure out what are the to do list, what are the do outs that come from inside of that meeting? You don't have a meeting just for the sake of having a meeting. You have a meeting to pull out notes to move a project further.
If that is something that you're good at, write that down. This space isn't just for product base businesses. This could be consulting, it could be coaching, it could be personal trainer if you're a nutritionist, whatever your skill set is, whatever you want to grow. However, you want your business to grow, if you already have a business in a box, you can bring that business here. If you want to take that business in a box model and turn that into something that's more personal for you and more of your own personal legacy. We can look at the process of how to do that here. In this place, you get to be and try to be whoever you want to be when you grow up. Let this be fun. We are creating a whole new mission for ourselves, a whole new potential legacy or not.
2. We are going to come up with an idea
I'm pretty sure and I hope that you're already having an idea dancing around in your head, but we're going to also validate that idea. How do you properly validate your idea? You're able to get your first dollar, so someone's going to pay for you to do a service, produce a product or something like that, so that will validate your idea.
3. We are going to do a tiny elevator pitch
When I come on and I say I am Nyota, your adaptability coach and leadership strategist, I give you tips and tricks on you to help you be more adaptable, using entrepreneurship as a way to lead, grow and transform your lives at home, at work and in your business. Something to that effect. You'll have something tight to be able to say who you are and what problem you solve, and it's small, it's just a few lines. This isn't a full 60 minute elevator pitch, I think in 30-20 seconds, something tight, something quick that you’ll be able to put on your social media handles and something that you'll be able to put this on Facebook, on Instagram, and you'll be able to share with people and tell them what your name is and how you can solve their problem so that it's exciting. You'll leave with at least one of those and we'll work through that. Don't let this be hard because you know how you want to serve. You know how you want to help. And we'll put that into a few concise words.
4. We are going to create your freebie.
What is a freebie? When you go to a website in there, we have a download, let's say you go to a podcast, we have a download for the outline of the show and you can take notes on what you heard. In exchange for your email address, we'll give you this free checklist, Like heck, yeah. I'll give you my email address. Heck, yeah. I want that checklist. That checklist is in exchange for your email address so they can send you email so they can be on your list. They can update you with the bits and products and services and things like that, so you are going to have your freebie. When you start to build your mailing list, you already have something for that exchange for their email address, so you should be able to leave here with your freebie.
Let's say if your product was coaching, so your freebie can be seven ways to use a coach, three reasons to know if you're ready for a coach, five ways to know that your coach isn't working. Six ways to thrive with your coach. How can coaching elevate your income, how to increase the investment that your clients pay through coaching? There'll be something there about that checklist
5. We will go over your tech deck and tech stack
It’s the technology that you will be using to further your business, to automate as much of your business as you can and everything that I'll have on the stack will be free and then they'll be maybe like one low cost version of it but everything on the tech stack will be free.
Know that I'm going to offer you an opportunity to go into a bigger program to be able to help you fill out your paperwork for your LLC and all that sort of thing, so that is an overview of what to expect this week. There are so many ways to serve as products or services. And when you leave here, you'll have something solid that you'll be able to monetize before you leave challenge.
